Obama criticizes the IPAD and Xbox in speech to university

The President of the USA Barack Obama when he addressed the 1,100 graduates of Hampton University (Virginia) said:

"With the iPods, iPads, Xboxes and PlayStations, none of whom know how to use, information became a distraction, fun and a form of entertainment , rather than becoming a tool of empowerment"

He added: " It is the responsibility of all Americans to offer children the kind of education that will make them competitive in a globalized economy. A diploma is not enough (...) education can help better manage the uncertainties of the 21st century economy. "

Obama recently received an honorary doctorate in law from Harvard Law School and joked that the honorary degree "was much less expensive than my degree in Political Science".
