How to Burn Image Files in Windows 7, without any 3rd party applications


Though Windows 7 had taken Personal Computing Section with a storm, This is one of the lesser known fact in Windows 7. You can actually burn an Image File (either IMG format or ISO Counterpart) without needing any third-party applications.




  • Browse through your Windows Explorer and navigate into the path, where your Image File is located.
  • Right-Click on the Image File you need to burn, and choose Open With | Windows Disk Image Burner.
  • The application will detect the disc type and, if the disc is rewritable and has content on it, it will show you a warning message allowing you to choose between deleting the existing content or not.
  • After the Completion, the program will automatically Eject the disk. Click on Close to Exit the Program.
