Transform Your Windows Desktop into Windows Mobile 7 Desktop

While Linux has earned a small place in the space on disk for many (especially of companies ), we must admit that Windows always made efforts to draw attention and make us things easier, not for nothing is still the most important brand the PC heading for its simplicity and fun interface, although not always work as they should and have to deal with viruses, spyware and other existential problems.

But the truth is that what many love about Windows is that it is "cute" and wants to look more and more to Mac without going into unnecessary expenses. But we're much time at the computer we like to give a facelift from time to time, and what better way to transform the good old windows desktop to give the appearance of new chiche Redmond giant: the Windows Phone 7.
To begin our work of transformation need to install on your computer Rainmeter , one of the best applications to modify the appearance of Windows-based skins, taking care to choose the download for the version of our system, since it comes in two flavors : 32 and 64 bits.

We will then download Omnimo UI , the skin that will interface Phone Windows 7 to our office. The only detail to consider before moving to its installation is to have the source Light Segue UI font loaded into our system, otherwise we add before the final installation. Just do not worry in looking for the same comes within the package Omnimo , simply add it to our sources recalled before lifting the skin (remember to close Rainmeter before starting the process.)

The end result is a desk full of custom widgets, which includes an email notifier, weather, feed reader and Twitter, Media Player and Notes, among many other choices.
You can imagine that, while the desktop appearance changes dramatically and makes it much more visually appealing, the use of RAM and system resources increases considerably, so we'll have to balance what we want more , interface, or speed.

As you see in the image I tested it with 4GB of RAM and it works very well but I do not recommend test it on computers with less than 2GB of RAM.
